Skids Kart Club
As will be seen from the Kids Racing Page, once a young driver has completed the relevant training in our Race School, they are eligible for membership of the Skids Kart Club. This is held on a Sunday morning from 8.45 a.m. until approx. 12 noon. If a driver can prove comparable training elsewhere, they will also be considered for membership.
The format is grand prix racing (heats and final) with points being awarded for places each week. These are entered into the league for the season with the winners receiving trophies.
We have three sizes of kart which we use for the club and can therefore accommodate most children from 8 years upwards.
Many of our members have won outside championships in various formulas. They have found that our training and the Skids kart club have really helped them in their overall karting.
Annual membership fee is £10.00
